Greetings y’all! Passion week is upon us. The week after Palm Sunday before Good Friday and Easter. For many of us it has become just another week, but it doesn’t have to be! As you go about your week, who do you know that you can bring to Jesus? This week you have a built-in opportunity to invite your friends and family members to join us on Friday at 7 for a special Good Friday service. Water the plants

Greetings y’all! Lisa and the girls went back to Alabama and Georgia a week or so ago while to boys and I stayed put here in Tucson. In addition to keeping the boys alive and on task with home school, Lisa had a special request for me: “Please water my plants.”  This was a big request given my penchant for killing many kinds of vegetation. Stay with the herd

Greetings y’all! When I was young there was a TV show that came on that I loved to watch. It was called “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom.” Every week a guy named Marlin narrated while a guy named Jim got way too close to dangerous animals. Somehow Jim always survived, but there were often animals that didn’t. The show often took us to the plains of Africa, where antelopes, wildebeest and other animals seemed to always be running for their lives from lions, jaguars, and hyenas.
