Which “gap” is mine?

Which “gap” is mine? So this fall as we study the book of Colossians we’re hoping to answer the question “Who are you?” and all that that means as part of God’s Kingdom. Last week in our introduction to Colossians I reminded you that Jesus Christ defines who you are, and as we slowly learn how to live out of who are in Him moment by moment, day by day then He builds His Kingdom through us individually and as a body of believers. 2018-08-24 Can I see some ID? In Christ by grace and the will of God, Part 1 Colossians 1:1-14 1. Who are you? (2) Saints and faithful brothers (12) with an inheritance (14) Redeemed and forgiven 2. Time in the mountains, at the beach, or near the water is almost always refreshing for me. I’ve come to look forward to my early morning walks. All kinds of animals are out frolicking in the relatively cool desert air, and the sun paints amazing color across the sky as it rises. There is just something about moving around outside that is good […]

“If you can make it through ________, you’re going to make it!”

So we’re still relatively new here to Tucson. When we arrived last December the weather was beautiful, and in the midst of our transition it was a gift from God. As spring sprung and the temperatures starting rising, many of y’all began reminding us that “It’s not hot yet.” You were right. Many of you also said, “If you can make it through June you’ll be ok!” As June came and went many others of you said, “Whoever told you that was wrong. Monsoon season makes everything hot and sticky. Hang in there. It’ll be better in September.” So here […]
