Covid protocols at TCBC

Covid protocols at TCBC Hi everyone,You have probably heard by now that the CDC as well as Pima County Health Department are now strongly recommending that people wear face masks again while indoors if physical distancing cannot be maintained. If you’ve been paying attention at church, you have seen that we haven’t been maintaining social distancing very well. Especially before and after the worship service and Sunday school hours.  To that end, we’d like to remind you to maintain social distance while on the 2411 campus. We also strongly recommend that you wear a mask while on site. And of course, if […]

“Here comes trouble!”

Posted on

“Here comes trouble!”  I used to hear that a lot growing up. It was usually someone talking about me!  Trouble just seems to have a way of finding all of us. Whether we’re looking for it or not! So, what do we do when we run into trouble? The Bible has much to say about how to respond in the midst of trouble! We’ll look at a Psalm on Sunday written for just such occasions! Please join us in person on Sunday for the combined language service with communion at 9:30 to hear more! If you can’t make it in person, you can […]

God of the valleys

There’s a lie running around in Christian circles that followers of Jesus should never be discouraged or depressed. Sometimes we’re even told to put on a happy face for the sake of the non-believers around us. These are interesting—but not Biblical—thoughts. The idea that Christians can’t have times in the valleys, times of despair, does not square with God’s plain teaching in the Bible. The Psalm we’ll study this Sunday will correct these attitudes for us. Please join us in person on Sunday at 9:30 for English and 11 for Chinese to hear more! If you can’t make it in person, you […]

Notice of Covid Positive at TCBC

Posted on

Hi everyone! We were notified this afternoon that one of our church members in attendance last Sunday tested positive for Covid today.  This person was onsite from the English worship service in the sanctuary through our post-Sunday school informal fellowship time in the fellowship hall.  Their symptoms are mild and allergy-like at this point. We have cancelled Wednesday morning’s Bible study as well as our Game Night at church on Friday night and church cleaning on Saturday. At this point we will proceed with normal gatherings on Sunday morning.  We wanted to let you know about this case so that […]

Seriously joyful

Posted on

I’m so excited for this coming Sunday! It will be joyful and serious at the same time. Joyful because we will dedicate two little ones from our congregation to the Lord. We will ask God to bless them and their families. And we will remember what a blessing our children are to us! This calls for a serious level of commitment for us as a biblical community. The world likes to claim that “It takes a village to raise a child,” but God came up with the idea long before any of us! Our church body plays an important role in the lives of each one of […]

What’s the point?

What difference does a personal relationship with Jesus really make in your life? As we turn back toward the Psalms for the summer, Psalm 34 will answer this question for us. Please join us in person on Sunday at 9:30 for English and 11 for Chinese to hear more! If you can’t make it in person, you can still join us online by going through our website: www.tcbcf.org then hit “watch livestream,” or go directly to our Youtube page.  Speaking of getting together, this Friday night at 7 we’ll be meeting at the church building for another game night. Eat first or bring your own […]
