Our Purpose
Our Mission
Our Vision
Having fellowship with God
To be people who are richly experiencing fellowship with God in our individual lives through Scripture and prayer, having been personally transformed by the truth, grace, and love found in the Gospel, and who are continually growing in personal holiness and sanctification through the intimate knowing and loving of Jesus Christ.
"No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." (John 15:15)
Building up each other in faith
To be a local church body, as a component of His ubiquitous and universal church, that is building itself up spiritually and physically, with people reinforcing one another to grow and mature in faith through teaching, equipping, exhortation, encouragement, and edification.
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." (Colossians 3:16)
Evangelizing and reaching the lost
To be disciples who are being compelled by Christ’s love to evangelize and make disciples in our personal lives and spheres, throughout our communities and city, and across our country and world.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
Senior Pastor
Jason Ingle grew up in Alabama and then moved to Texas in high school. He set out to become the world’s next great golf course architect, but God had other plans for his life. Jason met Jesus right after graduating from Texas Tech University, and that’s when the fun started!
After working in San Antonio, Texas for three years Jason heard a radio advertisement about teaching English in China, and that’s when the fun REALLY started. Jason left San Antonio for China as a single guy in the summer of 1996 and came back from China for good in 2015 with a wife (Lisa), four kids, stops in multiple cities all over China, a seminary degree, and more crazy stories than will fit on this bio page.
After a brief stent in International Campus Ministry at the University of Alabama the Ingles followed God’s call to leave the southeast and move to Tucson, Arizona, in December of 2017, where Jason is passionate about equipping the saints at Tucson Chinese Baptist to build the Kingdom in Tucson and to the ends of the earth. In his spare time Jason enjoys writing, watching action movies, and cheering for his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide.
If you have questions or comments for Jason or want to hear some of his crazy stories, puns, or bad dad jokes, you can find him at the church or write to him at jason.ingletcbc@tcbcf.org.
