I love spending time outside. I’m not sure that I am all the way in the Bear Grylls “drop me off in the middle of nowhere with nothing” camp, but I do like being out in nature. Time in the mountains, at the beach, or near the water is almost always refreshing for me.
I’ve come to look forward to my early morning walks. All kinds of animals are out frolicking in the relatively cool desert air, and the sun paints amazing color across the sky as it rises. There is just something about moving around outside that is good for our soul.
This week in Psalm 8 we’re going to see David interacting with God and nature during a time of personal worship. We’ll see how putting nature in its proper context is important as we seek to follow God. I hope to see you then!
We’ll also continue talking about our church vision this Friday night at 7. I hope you can join us as we dive more deeply into how God wants to work through us in Tucson.
Have a great week, and I’ll see you soon!
