Can I quote you on that?

People are saying some pretty crazy things these days. Some of it is absolutely unbelievable! We have video and audio recordings that prove many of these outlandish statements. But when those recordings aren’t available, we have to have a way to remember what was said.

When reporters do interviews, they often ask the interviewee: “Can I quote you on that?” They want to know whether or not a statement is “on the record” or “off the record.”

Writing things down is important. Especially if we want to get the words down accurately, and do something about them later.

This Sunday we’ll see John hear a command to “take good notes” so that the rest of us might benefit. Those notes are overwhelmingly powerful. Maybe in Heaven we’ll get to see the video playback! But for now, John’s notes are very useful for our lives.

Please join us in person on Sunday at 9:30 for English or 11 for Chinese to hear more! If you can’t make it in person, you can still join us online by going through our website: then hit “watch livestream,” or go directly to our Youtube page.

Speaking of getting together, we will be getting together this Friday night at 6:30 in Mid-town at Bob and Olivia’s and northside at Ted and Queena’s.

Until we meet again, by God’s grace, may you review your notes, and live accordingly this week!

Pastor Jason
