If you’ve got younger kids, especially younger kids that are “messies,” you’ve told them to “clean up your room” more than once. I used to threaten my kids that I was going to come into their room with a trash bag and help them clean up. That usually got them moving!
Maybe you don’t have kids yet. But maybe you’re the one that heard a parent tell you to clean up your room growing up too! Now, I’m not saying our rooms have to be spotless 24/7, but ordered rooms tend to make for ordered lives.
Maybe we need to clean up the rooms of our lives too? It can be easy to let things get out of order. To compromise with what we know is right in the midst of the crush and rush of life.
This week we’ll look at a church that was living in chaos. One leader in the church was making it worse. So the Lord told this church that it was time for a good “house cleaning,” or else!
Please join us in person on Sunday at 9:30 for English or 11 for Chinese to hear more! If you can’t make it in person, you can still join us online by going through our website: www.tcbcf.org then hit “watch livestream,” or go directly to our Youtube page.
Speaking of getting together, we will be getting together offsite this Friday night at 6:30 for small groups! Mid-town meets at Bob and Olivia’s. Northside meets at Ted and Queena’s! Let me know if you need their contact information.
Until we meet again, by God’s grace, may you get your room cleaned up before the Lord does it for you!
