“It’s all downhill from here!” If you’ve been peddling a bicycle uphill for a long time, those are welcome words to hear. It is so much more fun to coast, isn’t it?
While that’s great for bike rides, coasting can be dangerous in life. If we think we’ve “arrived,” and don’t need to grow any more we can get into this kind of coasting lifestyle. And before long, we’ll discover that if we don’t start peddling again we will come to a stop and fall over!
Our next church got tired of peddling up the hill of life. And soon they found themselves rolling backwards down the hill. This Sunday we’ll see the Lord challenge them to start peddling again or face eternal consequences.
Please join us in person on Sunday at 9:30 for English or 11 for Chinese to hear more! If you can’t make it in person, you can still join us online by going through our website: www.tcbcf.org then hit “watch livestream,” or go directly to our Youtube page.
Speaking of getting together, we will be getting together this Friday night at 7:00 at the church building for our first Book Club discussion. I’d encourage you to come even if you haven’t read the introduction or first three chapters! There are still plenty of books available.
Until we meet again, by God’s grace, may you keep peddling towards Jesus this week!
