“I believe. Help my unbelief!”
This cry by a desperate father watching his son suffer recounted in Mark 9 has become one of my “go to prayers.” I can’t tell you how many times I’ve breathed out this prayer to Jesus over the last 25 years of my walk with Him, but if anything, I pray it more now than when I first began trusting Him. It is hard to trust, especially in the midst of big changes, and it often seems like our unbelief is winning.
This Sunday we’re going to look at another time of change that occurred for God’s people, and how He told them to handle it. We’ll see faith show itself through action, and we’ll see God’s promises provide comfort and courage for His people.
Where do you need comfort and courage from Him this week? For what do you need to cry “Help my unbelief?”
He’s waiting for you to draw near to Him and pour out your heart to Him today. Please let me know how I can be praying for you too!
With you In Christ!
