Who We Are

OUR PURPOSE

To worship and glorify God by following the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:35-40) and fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) – that is, knowing God in our own lives and making Him known in the lives of people and communities around us.

OUR MISSION

To graciously share with each other and our local Tucson community the love of Jesus Christ, His Gospel message of redemption from sin, and His gift of eternal life and to support like-minded evangelistic ministries outside of our immediate sphere of influence through prayer and financial support.

OUR VISION

Having fellowship with God

To be people who are richly experiencing fellowship with God in our individual lives through Scripture and prayer, having been personally transformed by the truth, grace, and love found in the Gospel, and who are continually growing in personal holiness and sanctification through the intimate knowing and loving of Jesus Christ.

"No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." (John 15:15)

Building up each other in faith

To be a local church body, as a component of His ubiquitous and universal church, that is building itself up spiritually and physically, with people reinforcing one another to grow and mature in faith through teaching, equipping, exhortation, encouragement, and edification.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." (Colossians 3:16)

Evangelizing and reaching the lost

To be disciples who are being compelled by Christ’s love to evangelize and make disciples in our personal lives and spheres, throughout our communities and city, and across our country and world.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
